How long does it take to get contact lenses???

I have a eye exam today at lenscrafters and I was wondering will i have to wait a week to get them?

  1. You can get them right away if they have them but colored contacts you have to wait a week. I have both.


  2. If they have your prescription in stock, you can have them right away.  If not, you may have to wait a week or two.

  3. They normally give you a week trial or so.  But they will not give you any lenses unless you can demonstrate that you are able to put them in and take them out.

    During the week slowly increase your usage time to allow your eyes to adapt. e.g 2 hours on first day, then 4 hours, then 6 hours etc.

    It's a pain I know, but much better to take it slowly rather than rush in and delay the process even more or even damage your eyes.

    But it shouldn't take too long =)
