How long does it take to get from London Victoria to Oxford Circus via tube?

I need to get to the American Embassy and this looks like the best way. Any help, please?

i can't believe someone said it could take 30 mins to get to Oxford Circus!!!

It's only 2 stops and you could walk it in 20 minutes if you had to.

I takes about 3-5 minutes.  Get on at Victoria, pass Green Park and then get off at Oxford Circus.  It will probably take you longer to get out of the tube station that it will on the actual train.

However if you want to go to Grosvenor Square where the US embassy is then you're probably best going to Marble Arch.  Change at Oxford Circus for the Central Line and go 2 stops to Marble Arch (or take a bus from Oxford Circus to the top of Oxford Street).

The journey including the change at Oxford Circus should take around 15 minutes in total to complete.  However you should allow a further 10 minutes walking time to get to your destination.

The nearest tube station for the US Embassy (Grosvenor Square) is Bond Street (Oxford Street).

The map at this next site shows you how to get to the US embassy - you may as well take the Victoria London (Tube) from Victoria to Oxford Circus and walk from there - it's not far.

10 - 15 minutes on a good day

30 mins of you are unlucky

get a tube to Green Park (Victoria line)

go along Berkley street

walk up through Berkley square to the diagonally opposite corner and it is about five minutes walk from there to Grosvenor square.

US embassy on the left.
