  1. Train:

You first have to go from London Euston or London Kings Cross station to Glasgow Central station,  [4.5-5.5 hours]. From there, it's a 10-20 minute ride to Paisley

  2. Roughly about 5-6 hours on a train.

It took me 6 and a half hour to get to London from Glasgow Central on a train.

  3. A train from London Euston > Glasgow Central can take as little as 4.5 hours (express - usually Virgin), then from Glasgow to Paisley is another 15 minutes on the train.

If you get a coach/bus, it would take 8-9 hours to get to Buchanan bus station in Glasgow, then another half hour to go from there to Paisley.

The bus options would be cheaper, but it's not really worth the difference in time and comfort. I'd really recommend the train, especially if you book in advance as you can get a return ticket for less than £50 if you're lucky!

The best way to plan your exact journey would be to use the Travelline Scotland website - you can compare all the different options and prices.
