Via Rail takes between 4.5 & 5.5 hours with the price $66.60 one way and it is much more comfortable way to travel.

days those little doggies are fast but they can't run long distances and besides they can't carry much stuff.  

If you mean the bus depending on time of day allow about 7 to 8 hours for the trip downtown to downtown.

Depending if you leaving in the morning , let say 1 AM you should be arriving at 6 Am in the morning . Generally leaving in the non rush hours you can make downtown to downtown in 5 hrs . I have done for 37  years . In a snow storm I have done in 8.5  hrs too . Enjoy the ride and the scenery as well have a great day .
