It depends on the route you take. The quickest route is from the Harbourfront (aka WTC) terminal in Singapore (Harbourfront MRT) to Sekupang terminal on Batam. It takes 30 mins on Penguin ferries, which are also the best. They are Singaporean run and are clean, safe high speed ferries.
