How long does it take to get into Job Corps.

im in a very stressful situation. living with my mom who gets drunk and passes out on the couch and yells for no reason. i hate it. im currently getting ready to go to a job corps interview, and theres no waiting list for the specific center im interested in. how long do you think it will take to get out of my moms apartment and get into job corps.

It really depends on the Center.  I've heard anywhere from two to four weeks is about typical.  I had my Job Corps interview on July 31 and heard back from the Center yesterday.  In my case, it'll be early September, but, as I said, it could be a shorter period depending on the Center and a number of other factors.
