depends. for some who have kids, spring break is going on, plus a holiday weekend. a group has 14 days to approve a member

It depends on the moderators, maybe the group isn't very active.

You have to wait up to 14 days for an owner / moderator to approve your membership. (of course if their mails are active - if not, better find another group to join)
