How long does it take to get my Permanent Residence, if I came with Diversity Visa program ?

I came to USA with Diversity Visa Lottery Program, that makes you eligible to receive a United States Permanent Resident Card, But I was just wondering how long does it take to receive it. I heard some people who came with Diversity Visa Lottery, received their Permanent Resident card, within few weeks after arriving in US.

Well, you're eligible for it immediately. But it sometimes takes several months for them to proces it. Exactly how long it takes depends on where you live but it's impossible to predict precisely.
