  1. Go to IRS.gov and click on where is my refund.

  2. You mean your Stimulus Package? The IRS website has a calender that goes according to the last digits of your social number , thats when they mail your check, But, remember they always mail  checks on Fridays, don't know why.

  3. What money for low income?  Are you talking about EIC?  That would come just like a regular refund - if you filed on time and there were no questions about your return, you should have had it a long time ago.  If anything was questioned, you'd get it a few weeks after the questions were resolved satisfactorily, assuming that they are.

  4. Refund checks come when they are issued. Usually within 6 weeks. Longer if you file in April. If the IRS questions a deduction or other item on a return, they can hold the refund for many months. If you are not selected for audit, or sent a letter with questions, you may never know why the refund was held up. If after 6 weeks you don't get an expected refund, call the IRS. Have the person trace the actual code that shows on their screen to see why the hold up is. They may not know what it means, but if you can get them to tell you the code you can look it up. 5. Three weeks if filed electronically.  Six weeks if paper filed.
