How long does it take to get used to skateboarding?

Im a begginer skateboarder and ive been skating for about 3 weeks how long does it take to get really used to riding ur skateboard and turning. And how long does it take to learn the tricks?

it will take a while to start to master this riding stuff..... to try helping it go somewhere REALLY flat with no little rocks like a tennis court.... and the tricks will start to come sort of naturally to you

I barely started skating about 1 1/2 months and i can do a shove-it and a small ollie....1 month to get used to riding and turning and 1/2 of a month to do a small ollie and a shove-it

to get comfortable riding the skateboard took about a week but to do tricks and all that stuff took a while. skateboarding is all about commitment and being confident.it is better someone teaching you personally than looking it up on youtube.it will take a while to learn tricks you want to learn but you have to be patient and practice alot and in no time you will successfully do the trick and you will feel good all that work is worth it.

If you practice almost everyday (1-2 hours at least) and occasionally visit skate parks on weekends than it should take you about 1 month to half a year to get the feel of skateboarding (eg. turning and riding)

In terms of tricks, it probably takes the same amount of time with the same amount of practice.

AND REMEMBER, PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT!!!

look I'm 12 and i've been skateboarding for 5 years and it took me at least a year to learn how to skate or how to ride and ollie first buy your self some good shoes adios etnies or dc's. and a good board like a zero or element. etc. in that one year from literally all day every day i learnd how to ollie ride perfectly and pop shuvit so keep it up and oh skate for life!!!!
