Any tips for standing for long periods of time.. i move around, bend my knees, have good shoes.. anything please I started crying at work today.. it's soo bad.

  1. Forget the insoles and buy yourself some Crocs shoes, I couldn't work 12-hour shifts without them.  They have so many different varieties now that you should be able to find a pair that will fit in to your type of work.  Until your feet get used to the standing (it's kind of like having to let fingers get used to guitar playing), baby them a little.  When you get a break, try and find somewhere where you can sit with your feet elevated.  When you're home elevate them too and soak them in a bowl of warm water with some Johnson's foot soap.    At work, periodically take your feet out of the shoes even if it is only to stretch them or rub them.  But essentially, you need to change your shoes and find ones that are far more suitable for you.  Dr Scholl's may be a good brand, just not a good brand for you.
