How long does it take to get your actual California drivers license once you've passed the test?

I took the test and passed it on July 2 and they gave me a temporary paper license. But i was wondering when the ACTUAL license came in the mail? I've asked a couple of friends and they got there's within 2-3 weeks after taking the test but i'm pushing on 5 1/2 weeks now. Although the temporary license doesn't expire until 60 day's i'm still antsy...
