Depends which route you are going and from what station in London you are aiming for and which Southampton Station you are travelling to. Also on what time of day and what day you are going on.

SWT service from London Waterloo to Southampton Ctl, if fast service then between 60 and 90 mins.

Slow service will take 2hrs+

Southern Service from London Victoria will take approx 2.5hrs

If you are travelling on the weekend add about 30mins and on Sundays check due to the ongoing problems at Portsmouth area.

Well I come from Portsmouth {now live in West Yorkshire} when I used to catch the train back home it used to take roughly 1-1half hours to London,from there.

all i can think of is look at a time table it will have the start time and arrival time. work it out..

1hour 15 mins. But if your going over Easter, there's going to be loads of engineering work, so it could take a lot longer.

It takes 1 hour and 20 minutes, and the trains run at: 14,22,40 & 49 minutes past each hour monday to Friday so it would be 14:14, 14:22, 14:40 & then 14:49.
