How long does it take to go to Stonehenge from Newcastle?

I will be staying in Newcastle this coming July and wanting to go to Stonehenge, how far is stonehenge from me if i will stay there.

  1. Yeah, it's a really, really long way. If you are doing it on public transport I would expect you to get a train from Newcastle towards Bristol where you would have to change for more local transport. I have no idea how you would get to Stonehenge from there. To cut down on the travel time, you could fly from Newcastle to Bristol and get local transport from there.


  2. Fly or by train Newcastle to Bristol, train Bristol to Salisbury,then pick up the tour bus outside the train station

  3. Newcastle to Stonehenge is 324 miles and would take around 4.5 to 5 hours to drive.
