  1. a year

  2. Hair growth depends on two factors. #1 genes and #2 condition of your hair. I'm a hair stylist who specializes in long hair and everyone's hair is different. The best thing you can do is the most obvious thing. Don't cut it!!!! Most stylist who know nothing about long hair will recommend you cut your hair ever 4-6 weeks. No wonder why their clients never get the long hair they dream of. If your hair is in good condition there is no need to trim (trim meaning less than 1 inch) every 5-8 months. All of my clients will wait at least 4 months some as late as 9 months to trim their hair and all of these women have long gorgoeous healthy hair. When asked how they got their hair so long so fast they simply tell people "I don't cut it". Simple solution that works. Good luck....

  3. yeah i'm trying to do the same thing

it'll probably take like 1 year and a half for me cuz I flat iron my hair.

i think it needs to be alive in order to grow.

    ha.

  4. my last hair cutt was last year around september and sinse then it has gotten 7 inches longer

if you notice split ends, get them cut. you're hair will grow faster that way... if you don't cut your split ends, the split ends will climb farther up your hair and if you let'm go long enough, it'll go all the way to your scalp. Take hair growth vitamins, they help keep your hair strong when you are trying to grow it out.

also, the speed of hair growth is correlated to the health of your circulatory system. take care of your heart and it will reward you with long hair!

    drink lots of water

    Good Luck!

Mine grows VERY quickly, which makes getting it cut a pain in the ***!!

So your question is hard to answer.

But you can take vitamins that help it grow faster.

they also make it shinier and are good for your skin and nails to!

in the UK they are called "well woman".

Just like vitamin c tabs or any others like that!

  9. one half inch per month

  10. it really depends on your body mine takes less than one month

    and mines to my butt

it can take a 6 months a year or maybe 2 months it depends

  11. 1) eat lots of protein - hair is made up of protein. if you aren't getting enough, hair will be the 1st place your body will stop providing it for

    2) massage the scalp every day - hair follicles are fed by the blood. it will increase blood flow to them

    3) take biotin supplements. country life maxi-hair is a good supplement, too.

    4) increase omega fatty acid intake & healthy fats. like olive oil and nuts/seeds, for example. they make hair healthy & shiny

    5) take a multivitamin, drink plenty of water, & eat healthy - the healthier you are, the more it will show in your hair

even though i don't really know how long it will grow it doesn't really matter cause you can see when it's that long when it IS that long. but i just wanted to actually help so i hope this helps. ^^

  12. Depends on how well you take care of your hair. You need to use conditioners, conditioning shampoos, large toothed combs. Stay away from excessive heat ie. blowdrying, straightening... Oh yeah if you chemically straighten your hair it will break very easily. Don't comb your hair when its wet, it's likely to break. If you do all those things then it should get longer in a shorter space of time.

  13. it takes about 1 month to grow your hair by 2 inch but if you take care of your hair like massaging oil specially amla oil you can get that from any indian stores world wide and it really helps to grow your hair about 2 inch per week

  14. real slow, it took me like 2 years to have long hair and that was when i was in my fertile pubescant years

  15. a few months or more. By Christmas you'll get your wish=)

  16. According to Hair Facts, "The speed of hair growth is roughly 1.25 centimeters or 0.5 inches per month, being about 15 centimeters or 6 inches per year. With age the speed of hairgrowth might slow down to as little as 0.25 cm or 0.1 inch a month.

Cell division is responsible for the hair growth cycle. The new cells push the hair forward to make it longer, so the new hair is added at the root. There are about 100.000 hairs on a healthy scalp of hair. Each of these hairs will, in normal healthy conditions, last for one up to six years. People loose about 100 hairs per day, in normal conditions. The fallen hairs are replaced by new hair. Baldness occurs when new hairs are not being produced anymore.

During it's life a hair goes through three phases of growth: the anagen, the telogen and the catagen. The anagen is the first phase with new hair growing in the hair bulb. The catagen is the following phase when hair stops growing because the cell division stopped. The telogen is the final phase. New hair starts growing in the papilla and finally the old hair falls out.

Hair grows at about the same speed all over your head. There is no perceptible difference between the fringe, nape, crown, ...

You might think that fringes (bangs) grow faster than hair on other parts of your head, but that's simply an illusion."
