How long does it take to immigrate to Canada from England?

I am an Indian national and living in England. I just got married with a Canadian girl and she has applied my Visa application file. The case will be processed in Canadian High Commission in London. Can someone, Please, tell me that how long does it take to get the Visa if applied in UK?

I have not received the file number yet.

What the h**l do you want to come here for?  Stay where you are, you'll more than likely have a nicer way of life in Canada.  Have you not heard, people are clambering to get out of England.

There are several consulatancies that deal with these moves - I am going through a skilled migration process myself which takes 40 months from lodgement of application, however a defacto may be different.

I am assuming that you have been sponsored as a spouse. Processing time here in Canada is 44 days. In London, it takes between 3-9 months to process. So about 4.5 months at the earliest, 11 months at the latest.**

All depends when your other wife in INDIA finds out that you got marry Again in UK -the Canadian woman with out the proper  divorce....then she can block your VISA for  ever.
