How long does it take to increase your milk supply if you nurse or express every 1-2 hrs??

It should only take a day or two as long as you're consistent.  Your supply works on supply and demand.

for me it never took longer than 2 or 3 days. i nursed A LOT to get it back several times! boy i fought hard to keep it this last time.

i've had medical issues and thought i'd lose it, but I'm still nursing at 10 months out!

It only takes one bottle of formula for whatever reason to mess up my supply, then it takes about a week to get back on track again with nursing.  I win in the end! just persevere and keep nursing on demand, ask your body for more and it will produce more,

If you do it for twenty-four hrs straight every 2 hours for at least 20 min each time. Your milk supply should increase! If that doesnt work you can a herb called fenugreek, which is also known to increase milk supply as well.  But doing it every 2 hrs, through out the night worked for me to increase my milk supply.

I had a supply crisis last week, i got sick on tuesday & by wednsday i could not pump any milk. I work so i need to have breastmilk for my son. I was stressed! i pumped every 2hrs at work & nursed my son every hour when i was home.

It's friday today & my supply is better than ever. It's been good again from tuesday this wk.. So it took 1 week for me. 1 very stressful week. Thank God for my freezer supply, it helped me get through this week without using formula.

It should take anywhere from 2-5 days if you are consistent.  Also, nursing is much for efficient than pumping/expressing.  Therefore, your supply will increase a bit faster is you have baby nursing your supply up!
