  1. You can learn some basics in a few months depending on your aptitude. But prepare to spend the rest of your life in school if you choose this as a career. You can never stop learning.

  2. About 3 months

  3. 2 years

  4. about two weeks or so.....keep reading & practicing.....dont give up!

    and ASK plent of questions!

  5. Once you start just surf and figure that out.  Then go to sites like www.download.com and see some cool software to download.   Also they have some "popular and Advisible" programs to add to the computer... Adaware, Yahoo stop pop ups, etc.  Also I use www.ccleaner.com to clean out my PC nightly.  It clears out excess files and cache which will speed up your PC.  It is free.

But always know the rules... Get the correct Software for Virus and email protection.  I use System Suite 7 at www.v-com.com... I am not a fan of Norton or McAfee.

But also know that the PC is a tool that is great to use like this Answers site.  But never ever open an email "attachment" from someone you dont know... 99 % of time it has a virus.  Then you have to run your virus clean to get rid of it.  Also make sure you have a firewall..  THat should be enough for protection.

Also never ever fall for internet scams asking you to log in to a Bank site and give them your Personal information... Banks dont do that... they will call or mail you if a problem.   Also dont fall for the Nigerian or other scams telling you that if you send them $3000 you will get $23 million.  And they are some royality or whatever.   A lot of fraud on the internet.

Concerning Websites, you can go to www.blogspot.com or www.wordpress.com and start your own blog for free.   Or some sites can sell you some Templates and after downloading them, you enter information on your site... photos and text.   I use www.godaddy.com for Domain names and then you just make the site.

  6. Programming classes are usually taught by the language (ie Delphi, C++, etc).  It depends on how much you would like to know.

  7. I'm not very good with computers programming, but one place I can assure you that you find out from NTUC Learing Hub on more on the course it offfer with affordable rate
