  1. you can be good and play alot of the songs you know after a year and a half

  2. Depending on your motivation and will-power to play, and to move beyond the hurtful fingertips, you could learn to play basic songs with three or four chords within three months. You will have to put in hours of practice as often as you can.

Buy a good chord book that has music theory in it. If you take lessons, they could cost anywhere from $12.50 to $20 a half-hour. Having a friend that plays guitar would be useful because you could get some good tips from him or her.

  3. No, it's never too late to learn an instrument. For private lessons (one-on-one and not on school campus), prices are different, but they all have one thing in common: they're not cheap. A lot of teachers go by monthly pay, which can be $85-$100 or more. You get what you pay for, but sometimes you don't. It's frustrating in itself to find a competent teacher but if guitar is something you really wanna do, you don't give up searching. Nothing compares to taking lessons.

Since you pick up things quickly, you shouldn't have a problem becoming decent in about a month or so.

  4. no its not to late acutually i m 14 and just started / to get pritty decent might take a while sorry/ and as of lessons mine are 12.50 a piece but it all depends on where you live
