  1. it will depend on how much u pay to ship it

  2. To place it in a mail box, it takes less that 60 seconds. But for mail to arrive at it's designated Zip Code, within the Continental United States,  it will take from 3 to 7 days, normally.

Occasionally, mishaps and machine failure will cause some mail to take longer, but usually no longer than 10 days.

  3. Usually for just a letter 3 to 7 days.

There's of course next day shipping, which ships, well, next day.

For larger boxes maybe 1 to 2 weeks, maybe even 2 to 3.

But alot of shipping services offer trackers so you can see exactly where your package is all the time

  4. days, lead in to weeks, rolling into months, becoming years and decades.

it takes so long, man.  one time i mailed a letter when i was a young man, and it arrived when i retired.

i have to mail three packages, at about $5 bucks each, which is cheap.

  5. Strictly speaking, to "mail" a letter means to enter it into the postal system, so the answer would be the length of time it takes you to write it, put it in an envelope and take it to the postbox.

I assume you're actually asking for postal delivery times?  In the UK, it's normally given as "probably tomorrow, definitely the day after" for First Class, and "probably the day after tomorrow, but don't count on it" for Second Class.
