  1. takes me 2 hours with a crappy push mower, (one that i have to pull the grass out of sometimes) so maybe shave half an hour off that if you have a good one, and on a riding one probably a little over 30 minutes.

  2. It takes me a little over a half hour to mow an uneven acre near around a stream with a riding mower

  3. I would say it would probably take me an hour to cut the lawn with a push mower. On a riding lawn mower, probably 30 minutes. It depends a bit if you have hills or there's things in your way (sticks, trees, bushes, toys).

  4. if hubby is gonna mow 30 acres a week with a pushmower, he is ......

    a) insane or

    b) THE MAN!

at the rate of an acre an hour( and thats really moving it) he would almost put in a full weeks work and then have to start over

  5. He would not have time to use a push mower, that takes between 3-4 hours an acre. If you have a good riding mower you can do an acre in 30 min. to an hour. I have one acre of land and have mowed it both ways.

  6. Push mower, walking fast: 2 - 3 hours

    Ride on mower: 30 - 45 minutes.

You cannot mow 30+ acres with a push mower in a week.
