How long does it take to process a video on youtube?

Me and my freinds just posted our first video just right now at about 6:50 today. We uploaded it and we are waiting for it to process. How long will it take.

It all depends. I've had one take like 20 minutes at the most and another took 12 hours. Just keep checking to see if it's up yet.

Anywhere from 5 mins to 24 Hours. Depends on the video length, quality, size, and format.

Usually takes around 10 to 20  minutes..

Once Upload is complete.

If you are trying to view, you may be looking at a cached version of the link..

Rebboot,, and try to view..

Content , can add some extra time to your proccess..

Content filters are used on youtube to scrutinize suspect uploads.

If you added tags with certain perscieved bad language or subject matter, this could add to the time of your procces..

It really depends on the format of your video, how long it is, etc. I know when I upload videos, some take like 5 minutes but I have had some that take quite a few hours.
