How long does it take to pump up a large inflatible pool?

i just got one for free and im using a small electric pump

make sure you have no leaks and just let it pump. the first minutes are akways the longest. I,m guessing it should take about 40 minutes or so depending on the depth and circumference. If it was given to you I,d check for any leaks with soapy water sponged on the outside. If there are any pinholes you will see bubbles. Not only does it seem to take forever to inflate it also seems to take forever to fill. Good luck.

Should take about a half-an-hour.  If it's taking a lot longer, there might be a leak.

The smaller the pump the longer it will take.  It all depends on the CFM rating on the pump and the size of the pool.

The obvious answer for you must be  -   too long!
