How long does it take to receive a letter from Turkey to USA with USPS as registered mail?

Hi every one,

My father sent a letter(nearly 1 lb) to me 08/12/2008 from Turkey, but I haven't yet get it. When I write my track number on Turkish Postal servis' internet site, it show that my letter was sent 08/13 UPIM and I write at usps, I don't get any information. Could it been lost ? or is this time interval normal?

What do you see if you enter the Registered Number at usps.com? There is no real firm answer to your question. Registered Mail is the slowest for of mail in that each person that handles it has to sign off on it.

You're talking about a package of 1 pound. All that you say is that you can see that it was mailed in Turkey on 8/12.  usually, you will see more information such as when it left Turkey, when it arrived in US Customs and when it clears Customs.
