If you are talking about a person who has just been approved to join your group and that person wants to send start sending messages to the group to be posted on the group site, it usually takes about 15 to 30 minutes for their first messages to either be posted on the group or to be received in the pending messages file.

well this would depend I suppose. if you're talking about notices to join, you should get them pretty quickly. if you're talking about a request e-mail from pending member, this could take however long it takes the person to send it.
