How long does it take to receive your voter registration card if you are a new voter?

I just registered to vote today, and I need to find out how long it will be before I receive my voter registration ID card?

well here in florida,  I put my husband registration in the mail on Saturday, and he recieved his Voter ID yersterday, so it is really fast here.

t depends on the jurisdiction, usually two weeks. You may not need it to vote however, if your registration appears in the book on election day
