Well, it  shouldn't matter much if it is to an archos 704 or to an archos 105, or to a 128 coby crapbox, as long is it is usb 2.0 (Which it is) It should take relatively short amounts of time.

If the DVD is 1gb on your computer in the correct format, probably at around 10 Mb p/ sec, it will be 1 minute and 40 seconds, or maybe a bit more accounting for recognition and all of the stuffs
