  1. Have you ever actually SAILED a boat?  what is it with you people and your overblown egos who don't know c**p and think you are experts.

You remind me of those morons you see in Florida who don't know anything about boats and then buy a boat and insist that everyone calls them "Captain".

You DO know you have to cross the Gulf Stream and you DO know that summer is coming when the prevailing winds will be from the North and Northeast and you DO know that nobody who has ever SAILED a boat will even think about crossing the Gulf Stream when the wind in OPPOSITE the waves on Gulf Stream.

Get the stars out of your eyes, Magellan... you ain't going ANYWHERE near the Bahamas when the weather changes it's summer patterns.

  2. You are taking on a very large task. How long will it take, it depends on the weather and wind factor.

check out this website, you will find it very interesting

    good luck and enjoy)

  3. It depends on the time of year and size of ship, also type of ship. Usually to sail down the East Coast would take several weeks, and from the tip of Florida to the Bahamas can be as short as 12 hours

  4. I'd say about a week and a few days.

Oil tankers from Venezuela to like Boston take a weeks time.... You're talking like Atlantic Canada right?

Surely you don't mean you're going to sail all the way up-and-around Nova Scotia and then sail down the St. Lawrence River right? *grin*
