Question:

How long does it take to see Madame Tussauds? Also, does anyone have experience with after 5pm tickets?

I am planning a trip to London, so I'd love to know how much time does it take to see the wax museum.

Additionally, I'd like to know if it's a good idea to buy after 5pm tickets.

Thanks in advance!

  1. 2 hours

it's well worth it but get there early to avoid an hour queue (eg get there for like 9 when it opens)

  2. It could take you up to 2 hours and possibly longer,,have visited twice and it took me ages,,loads of people and lots to see,,,

  3. 2 hours max to see everything .... about 2 hours if you are going on a weekend  just to get to the front of the que though so keep that in mind

  4. Like everyone else says here 2hours + seems right  at peak times.

As you are going after 5 then it will take less and that is what we did.

We got our tickets off of http://www.lastminute.com/ (This is a great site to get official tickets for alot of things in London and get money off. I have used it for Madame Tussauds And Theater Shows such as Cabaret.)

I don't know if you are using the same site but after 5pm you can get in for £12.50 which is half price. Here is the link if you are interrested http://www.lastminute.com/site/entertain...

We were very pleased with this as we arrived half an hour early and they still let us in with out any difficulties.

So I would say this time is great to go and vist this attraction.

Even at this time though it is very buisy, eventhough you don't have to que to get in. the wax models are picture perfect with the acception of some.

    Hope this helps you!
