  1. 5 days

  2. It really depends. I've lived in Victoria for over 22 years and have family in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. The last letter I got from my dad (in SP) took 3 weeks. The previous one took 4 days. They were the same size and weight, both sent by air mail. Sending it express doesn't always mean it will get there faster as there seems to be a break in service the moment the letter leaves the expediting country. For example: my mother in law sent me a letter by Brazilian registered express mail. She was able to track it until it left the country then it took over 21 days to get here. It was supposed to take 3 days, guaranteed.

I sent a registered package to my dad in SP, again guaranteed 3 day delivery and it took 10 days to get there. If you are in a hurry the best bet (but most expensive) is to use a courier company like FedEx or such. They actually deliver what they guarantee...

  3. Hey, I'm from Rio and have been in Victoria. Beautiful place!

I don't know how long it would take for a letter from Canada to get to Brazil, but I would guess about two weeks. That's how long it takes when I send a letter from the US to Rio. It's a little faster than that to receive mail from Brazil.

  4. that a good question that noone can answer.  I've sent letters before and it got there in 5 days and other times it took over 2 weeks.  I sent a package one time and it took almost 2 month to get there.

  5. IT WILL DEPEND ON HOW YOU WILL SEND IT,FOR EXAMPLE IF YOU SEND ON EXPRESS WILL TAKE A DAY.

  6. 5 to 10 business days.

  7. Well.. I've sent a book before..  a rather small book to Brazil and it took 1 1/2 ..  2 weeks  ..    from New Orleans, Louisiana
