How long does it take to take out carpet and install wood flooring?( a medium sized bedroom)

my room is about almost the sized of a master sized room but smaller

Rip-up the carpet & pad. Cut it into 4' strips. roll it up & tie it up

Pull up all the staples & tack strip

Cut & install the wood. Undercut the door jambs, install 1/4 round or baseboards.

I would say 6-8 hrs

we did our living room in about 4 hours. that was taking out old carpet and cleaning that mess up, then measuring and cutting the hard wood and putting it down, its not hard at all.
