  1. and this will tell you how much it costs, too

    see the link

  2. about 2 hours or so

  3. It depends from where you mean in London, you know its a pretty big place. If you are going from a mainline such as London Victoria or London Paddington you should have no problem.

For an exact time go to www.nationalrail.co.uk

    Good Luck

  4. The fastest train between the two cities is the 0707hrs from Lime Street arriving 2hours  9 minutes later at Euston.   These trains are the new Pendelino Tilting Trains with a top speed of 125 mph in places.

This train runs weekdays, but beware weekend travel takes considerably  longer due to engineering work.

  5. about 2 hours 15 minutes on virgin trains during the week. Weekends take around 4 hours and a half. (I did a sunday journey London to Liverpool a year ago...atleast it was first class for only 28 pounds).

  6. assuming no delays it should be about 4 hours however when I used to come home from London when I was a prison officer Virgin railways were usually delayed on one (sometimes both) of the journeys

  7. Liverpool Lime Street to London Euston takes approximately 2hrs 50mins, although some of the Virgin departures are showing a journey time of only 2½ hours.

  8. About 3 hours 50 mins

  9. The average journey time between Liverpool and London, using the direct Virgin West Coast Pendolino trains is 2 1/2 hours.

If your buying a Saver Return, you can only use it after (and including) the 09:15 departure, unless you have a railcard.

    Semi Flexible/Fully flexible fares:

Saver Half Return(a single which is only available via the Virgin website) = £29.85,

    Saver Return= £59.70,

Standard Open Single- £102.50  Return- £205

    First open Return= £322

Advance fares (Three different stages in both Standard and First class):

    Standard singles = £12.50, £20.00, £26.00

    First Class Singles= £29, £38, £46.50

  10. 3 hours 45 minutes if i remember correctly. I recommend Virgin Trains, I think they are selling single tickets from £12.50.
