How long does it take to travel from Frankfurt to Berlin by train?

There are several different types of train in Germany, and travel times vary depending which one you use.

For example, the more expensive ICE trains travel much faster than the cheaper but slower regional trains, so your journey time would be affected by that.

It depends on which train you take some are faster than others.

You can get rates IN ENGLISH at http://www.bahn.de and choose English and it will give you rate and eta from one to the other.

HI,

if you take one of the high-speed ICE-trains, it will be under 4hours.

Slower trains can take everything up to 8 hours.
