  1. FROM HAMBURG TO MUNICH BY CAR YOU COULD MAKE IT IN 7 HOURS,THE TRAIN IS A LOT FASTER...

  2. There's no speed limit on much of Germany's highways, still it's a long way, something like 8 - 10 hours.

  3. You are looking at at least 10-12 hrs as you are travelling  almost the whole length of the country north to south. So you need to allow for breaks

  4. oh come on 4hours? or 400 euro fuel? are you guys kidding me?!

ok, i live about 3 hours away from munich, north of it. And it toók me bout 5 hours  up to hamburg, so depending on the traffic you can make it by 7 to 10 hours... and fuel, i'd say round 100 to max 150 euro for fuel, since it's going up.. ^^ but sure, maybe that person with 400 euro fuel drives like an idot constantly max speed.... sure, that would come close to it

  5. it depends on how fresh the hamburg is when you bought it  LOL   (Hamburger)

  6. Try using www.mapquest.com.  They have a link that you can use them for foreign countries too.

  7. 4  hr

  8. Suggest you take the train it will be buch cheaper and faster. If you going by car however i  would guess about 12 hours maybe more.

  9. Drove that journey a few times. If you are not stuck in traffic on A7 it takes you around 7 - 8 hours, but with traffic jams it can be up to 9/10 hours. These days I prefer to go by train as much faster!

  10. well its 482 miles, its the same as driving from London to Dundee in Scotland, allow 9 hours driving but you could do it in 8 if traffic is ok.

  11. well it takes 6-7 hrs from Berlin to Munich and about 3-4 hours from Berlin to Hamburg so I'd say weather, speed limits (since they can be put down to as low as 40 at building sites but you can also go as fast as you like at some parts- not everywhere tho!) and traffic permitting it should take around 9-10 hrs, if you drive like my dad's friend however it will take you half that!! lol, he drives at 220km/h and when someones in front of him he slams the brakes on so he nearly hits the car ahead!

  12. The trip by train takes around 6 hours by ICE (from 6:00 to 6:11) high speed train.  The ticket cost is EUR 115 with no reductions (but you can look for the cheap tickets).

The car trip is 6h 40 if all goes ok, with snow, rain, wind, road works, heavy traffic it can be up to 8 hours easily.  The cost of fuel can be more than 400 EUR!!!
