How long does it take to travel to Scotland from london by train?

I heard there's a train that runs between London and Edinburgh in 4 hours - up the east coast.  I will be taking that in a couple of months.

It depends where in Scotland you want to get to - it is a very big place! At least 4 hours if you are not going far north. If you were heading to Inverness it would take about twice as long.

Flights are much quicker, and probably cheaper, although not great for the environment either.

you can do it in 4 hrs, but its just as cheap to fly and only 55mins
