How long does it take to walk to Avalon Mall from MUN?

I know they're both on/near Prince Phillip Drive but I'm moving over St John's this week for university at MUN and I am just wondering how long it would take to walk to the mall and back home to residence? I am thinking of trying to get a job at the mall and it'd be ideal if I could back to/from work if the bus schedule isn't convenient for me.

Probably take you about 20 minutes or about 3 minutes in a cab
