How long does it take untill the effects of not eating show ?

i just want to know how long it take to start loosing weight and inches when you dont eat

anything you can tell me along these lines would be good

by the way im not stopping eating im doing a project on anorexia in school and would like to know as i cant find it out anywhere

  1. you don't lose weight at first, you bloat. Because your body later realizes that youre no longer eating, it will start digesting the muscle instead of the fat. After about 4 days, the weight starts to drop significantly. And when people start eating again, they will gain up more than twice of what they initially lost within the first few days, because the brain has figured out that after putting the body into such a critical state such as starvation, that situation may occur again so the food goes straight into fat storage... its a really sad and dangerous disease. good luck, i hope this helps.


  2. You can put this in you project. they never show positive results. Your muscle will melt away and you will look incredibly flabby. This will make you desire to tighten the belt even more. Soon your hair will start falling out, your nails will ge brittle, your head will become out of proportion with your body, your organs will suffer permanent damage, your metabolism will slow to a crawl. Mentally you will become obsessed to the point of it becoming a fatal obsession.

    Write this as your summary on your "project"

    ITS NOT WORTH IT.

    There are so many easier, faster ways to look thin and toned. Not eating is NOT one of them.

  5. well you body will shut down you will pee on your self lose your hair and die. but the main thing is your body will stop burning fat and store it instead course you are starving it. THIS IS THE COMPLETE TRUTH.

  6. If you lost weight in a day, then it would most likely be water retention. The less food a person eats, the metabolism of the body speeds up  because it feels it's on a starvation mode. So, it could take a little longer then expected, unless you add exercise to the eating less. But as your body goes without food, your metabolism speeds up to help to keep from not losing too much weight. Eventually of course, a person will lose weight, but then if they go back to eating their regular diet that they did have in the past, it will (the weight) come on pretty fast and even more, unless you keep your diet for a long term.

  7. for people who are anorexic- probably a day. A day without eating is empowering and while you might not notice it, your mental attitude will be less focused on how fat you feel.  

  8. One week. At first it's all water the your body tries to live off your fat. But the real results showed in about a month then your eyes sink in and your teeth slowly rot. already been there and done that.
