I was a Freshman in the 2007-2008 school year. In the beginning, the amount of homework was moderate - about 2 to 3 hours every afternoon. Later on, it just consistently began to increase so much - about 8 to 10 hours every afternoon/night. I ended up going to bed on an average of 12 to 1 am, and getting about 6 to 7 hours of sleep every school night. I was not participating in any extracurricular activites at the time, and I was taking normal Freshman classes. This 2008-2009 school year, I will be taking Honors classes, which I am not anticipating because it just sounds like more work and much more stress. I really want to join two of my school's clubs, but I don't think I will since there seems to be no time for any of that.

  1. i do it at school! im a freshy to and do all honors also

  2. that's tons of homework!!! I'm gonna be a freshman, but in 8th grade it only took me about a half hour to do homework (I got all A's) and my friends' older brother is going to be a senior and it only takes him about 2 hours to do all his homework. (He's in all honors and 2 AP classes) so idk what's up with your school! sry =/

  3. I hardly ever had any work to do at home, I finished most of it at school, with maybe an hour or two at home if I needed to use the computer, work with someone else, or read sections in a book.

  4. I do most of it at school, so about half an hour of assaigned homework a day, but then i study for another hour and a half...gotta keep the grades up :)
