How long does it take you to pump a bottle of milk? How many ounces?

Especially let me know what kind of pump you use. I bought myself a double electric pump.

my daughter is 7 months old and I have never breastfed, but started pumping the day she was born. I am trying to wean off because i have ridiculous amounts of milk stored up that she probably won't use before she turns one!  I pump for about 15-20 minutes and I pump about 18 ounces each time....when i wasn't TRYING to stop pumping, I would pump about 22-25 each time i pumped...i feel like a dairy cow! I rented a hospital grade pump for a month, but found that i pump more and faster using a medela double electric pump...and let me tell you, the best thing i ever purchased was a "made by moms pumping band". It lets you pump completely hands-free...best $20 I ever spent!

using a double hospital grade pump (while my daughter was in hospital) I would pump about 2 ounces in about 20 min (under a ton of stress & was exclusively pumping).  With my son I am using a single manual pump and get between 3 & 5 ounce in about 15 min.... ...tends to do better if the baby is nearby.

I use a double electric medela.  I only pump at work, twice during about 8 hours.  I get anywhere from 8-12 oz in the morning (depends on how much she nurses before I leave for work) and about 4-5 oz in the afternoon.  If I add another session in mid day I can also get about 4-5 oz from that session.  I am a bit of a milk machine though with an oversupply.  It is normal to only get 1-2 oz per double pump session.

I only pump at work, once in a 5 hour shift, usually near the end,  after about 4 hours. I get 4 ozs total. I could get more if I had a longer break though. for the first day i went back to work, I had to pump 4 times to get 4 oz, it sucked.  my baby is 8 months and doesnt drink much when im gone, sometimes she doesnt even finish a 4 oz bottle
