  1. A cooler with ice can't get hot.

The ice keeps the cooler cold.  It can only get hot after all the ice melts, after which you can no longer correctly refer to it as a "cooler with ice".

A large, well-insulated cooler with a very large chunk of block ice?  Maybe three days or more.  A small soft-sided thin-walled lunch pail-sized cooler with a cupful of ice cubes?  Maybe four hours or so.

It depends upon the cooler, the amount of ice, whatever else is in the cooler and whether it was warm or cold to start with, the outside temperature and wind conditions, whether it is in the sun or shade, etc.  There are too many variables to give an accurate answer to the question as asked.

  2. This depends on the:

    1) Cooler

    2) Amount of Ice

    3) Time of day

    Please be more specific.

  4. About a day, depending on the cooler.

  5. A few days. Keep it in the shade.

  6. Roughly a day or two.
