there are so many different ways to play the game...also it depends on how many players...there are directions for a short game on the box...i think it involves passing out all the properties first instead of buying them...another way to make it longer is to put all money from community chest and chance that should be in the bank into free parking...also take one trip arounf the board before ne one is allowed to buy anything...have fun!

it depends on how many players there are,and how good the players play. My parents always say it could last  over a day long. Me and my friend played it 1ce and it took 2 hours before we both quit the game.

It all depends on how many players there are and basically your luck. You can basically stop the game whenever you want once you get into it. Or i guess you could play it for as long as you want too.
