I recently had a cerebral aneurysm rupture and bleed out in my brain. After a very long surgery I am now recovering. I was curious how long it was in my brain before it ruptured?

  1. It is true, there is no way to know.  Although more than likely, it had been there a while. Aneurysms, unless caused by trauma, tend to grow fairly slowly. Some aneurysm locations in the brain can be faster than others due to differences in blood flow.

  2. There is no "typical" in those cases.  There are too many variable.  No way to know.
