hi! i'm applying for postgraduate studies in RMIT. first option is MAster of communications (advertising), #2 is Master of Fashion and Textiles (this is actually more biz track) and #3 Master of business (marketing).

They received my applications last week but only lodged it in their database 2 days ago. i've already received an offer letter from UOW for MAster of International Business conditional upon fulfilling the English requirements so i'm scheduling to take the IELTS (jeez!) within the month. But am still awaiting to hear from RMIT, Raffles college and Swinburne.

I'm concerned because i'm hoping to enroll for spring 2008 which means late june-july. I'm from the philippines so i can't apply for a student visa till i have a confirmation of enrollment which so far i can't get from UOW until i've secured my IELTS results....yikes!

  1. I'm a recent graduate of one of RMIT's TAFE programs. Usually, it doesn't take long to process your application, since I only had to wait around 2-3 weeks for the offer letter. If you haven't got a response 'til now, chances are your documents are slipped or they simply forgot (this OFTEN happens when it comes to RMIT, as far as my friends' experiences are concerned). You'd better drop them a call or an e-mail ASAP. If you applied through an agent, ask your local representative to do the work (it's their job anyway). All the best with the IELTS exam.
