How long does it usually take for a very popular game to be sold out?

It just depends on how well they stock the game. As big of an opening day as they're expecting, I doubt you'll have to actually worry about the game getting sold out EVERYWHERE. They're going to have midnight openings for it, I'm sure, so they'll probably have the game stocked in places where they don't have the presold items. Gamestop just always prepares for the worst.
