  1. It depends on the individual actor, how much makeup and costume they have to change, etc. etc.

  2. I haven't seen Spring Awakening (desperately want to), but I'd say likely an average ETA.  About 30 minutes or so to get out of costume, take off their makeup, get their stuff together and get out.  Granted, some may be slower/faster, especially the actor who plays Georg (I think), because of the odd hair.

I once waited for Brian Stokes Mitchell for at least an hour - in the snow - outside of "Kiss Me Kate".  I wouldn't recommend doing that, but I did get to talk to him for 10 minutes, so it was worth it in my case.

These people can take forever, so after a while just take off.  Don't wait around for too long.

    Hope the show's great!

  3. The show I am working on at the moment in the UK, one actor is out of the door before the playout music has finished and the others within 10 minutes of the show ending.  It is better to get to the stage door as fast as you can.  Better to wait than miss whoever you are waiting for.

  4. I've never had to wait long. By the time you get past the tons of people. They're usually out in 15 minutes. They want to go home just as badly as you do once you get out of work.
