I put a First Class Stamp bought last year on a few invitations and mailed them out a little under a week ago. They don't say 'Forever' on them. Is that a problem? I know a couple people still havn't received them. The stamps have Lady Liberty and the U.S. Flag on them. Will it still work for a small invitation? If it doesn't how long does it usually take for mail to come back?

  1. Day or two

  2. it depends what time you mail it out like if you mailed it out before 10am it will get there in a day and if you mailed it out after 10 it will possibly get there in 2 days

  3. First of all you haven't stated where and how far the invites are going?

Normally 1 day if it's the same city. 2 days in the same State.

3 days out of State. 1 week out side of the country.

First Class Stamps from last year are old. But the POst Office would still send them on as "Postage Due" or return them to you.

Are they Forever Stamps are not.?

The price of a stamp have gone up you know?

Sometimes a couple of people are "questionable"

And or they may have gotten stuck on a letter going to Japan.? Torn up in the machine.

I've seen this happen. It varies on the "demise" of travel of the letter.

And they will work for a small envelope. But not an oversize

    letter.

Either way. Just send them another one. Sooner are later

the other letters will show up.

  4. It shouldn't take more than a day or two for mail to reach same city recipients... however, if you didn't put enough postage on it could be a few weeks before you'll get those back... the PO is notorious for taking their sweet time to return mail.

  5. 2 Days or so...
