Every company is different.  If there was a closing date it can be up to a week or two after that date.  If they need someone right away they can call as soon as that day or the next day.

Some people say to phone to check to see if they have reviewed your resumes but be careful with this lots of companies do not like this.

They usually never call back it sucks!!

  If they need you, right away.  Other employers wait to see if you are interested enough to call them back.  Call back every week, let them know you want this job.  They hire some people just to end this harassment.
