  1. PCOS dosen`t effect pregnancy too much. My mom had PCOS when she got pregnant with me. My mom and dad tryed for a month and then she got pregnant. it takes the same time it would for any other woman to get pregnant that it would for a woman with PCOS.

  2. Really depends on what the woman is doing to battle PCOS.

If they treat themselves like a diabetic and watch their bad carb intake and balance things out that really helps a lot as the insulin imbalance is the #1 problem.

  3. i started using clomid in jan. but quit in june.....

    im curently 6 weeks pregnant.

i was algo diagnosed with pcos 4 years old.

  4. Don't know if there are any stats for this. The severity of PCOS varies as well.  With PCOS, you do need to take meds and even fertility treatments (which can expedite the process).

My wife has PCOS - we tried two years without being diagnosed.  After getting correctly diagnosed and prescribed the right med (metformin), conceived within a year.
