  1. for the average person that is not talented a life time for some one with a little talent maybe 10-15 years there is a lot to ballet so if you don't love it and if it's not part of your life then you shouldn't be wasting money time and effort going to class :(

  2. That's a difficult question to answer, because it depends on what you mean by "good". Do you mean good enough to be accepted into a top ballet school; good enough to be a prima ballerina? If so, the "average person" may not ever be "good enough". Unfortunately, ballet is highly selective over who gets to be the creme de la creme....

Perhaps what you mean is how long it takes to be "proficient" in ballet? As in, able to execute steps, memorize combinations, etc? I think it takes, at the very least, a year (with hard work, regular classes -- at least three to four times a week -- and stretching exercises a few times a day) for someone to get the necessary muscle memory, strength and flexibility.

  3. ballet takes alot of skill butt skill doesn't nesesarilly makee you the best at it i danced profesionally for 10 years and dancing was a part of my lifee. it matter how much you love it you can be the greatest at picking up dance moves and memorizing steps butt if your heart isn't in the dance you'r not gonna look good doing it.
