I've been offered a good job in Burbank, but I live in La Puente, CA. I'm debating if I should live at home for free and commute...or find an apt near Burbank (that costs about $2,000/month for rent).

I really want to live at home with my parents so I can save money (free rent, free food, free laundry YAY!!)...but if the commute is more than 2 hrs one way, I will decide to rent.

  1. What time do you need to be at work? that's what will determine your drive time. But in the thick of traffic, should be about an hour or so, take the 10 to the 5 or take the 605 to the 210 to the 5..

  2. two hours with traffic with out traffic its about a hour and a half your best bet stay at home and save and commute because 2000 a month is high for rent especially for a apartment

  3. Yeah, I think you could make it in 2 hours even during rush hour.
